Helen June Lovell Lewis, 76, resident of Evergreen Drive, died Monday, August 7, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Proctor officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late G.W. Lovell and the late Mildred June Johnson Lovell. She was a 1959 graduate of Haylong High School. For several years, she managed Trotwood Apartments and retired from South Central Human Resources as a social worker. Mrs. Lewis was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons, William Darrell (Cheryl) Lewis of Bellevue; Monty Stephen (Kathy) Lewis of Columbia; sister, Carol (William) Barnes of Hohenwald; grandchildren, Evan Lewis, Taylor Lewis, Cole Lewis, Macy Lewis, Chelsea Lewis; and great grandchildren, Ramona Lewis, and Hazel Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Steve Lovell.

Active pallbearers will be Cole Lewis, Tony Wolfe, Terry Thompson, Mark Holley, Mike Irwin, and Brandon Prince.
