I GREW TO KNOW HER THROUGH WORKING WITH HER LOVELY DAUGHTER AMY MANY YEARS AGO. SHE WAS ONE OF THE SWEETEST LADIES I HAVE EVER KNOWN. I WAS ALWAYS SO GLAD TO RUN INTO HER AND CATCH UP WITH LIFE AND THE GIRLS. I KNEW BOTH OF THEM AND THEY WERE SPECIAL AND I ALWAYS HAD A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART FOR AMY BECAUSE OF OUR TIME SPENT TOGETHER AT WORK. YOUR MOM FOUGHT SO HARD AND I AM SO SORRY THAT SHE LOST THE BATTLE BUT SHE IS NOW AT PEACE. I AM SORRY THAT I CANNOT BE THERE TODAY DUE TO A FAMILY SURGERY BUT I AM THERE WITH YOU IN SPIRIT AND LOVE. MAY GOD BE WITH YOUR FAMILY AND GIVE YOU PEACE.I WILL MISS HER SHE WAS A SPECIAL LADY AND LEFT SOME WONDE
RFUL MEMORIES ON THOSE SHE TOUCHED.

In 1966 Lana entered the hospital to have Dee. She told my mom the bed beside her was for her (who was also pregnant) to have me. Less than 2 months later, my mom was in that exact bed having me. After all these years, Lana and Phyllis are together again, laughing as they always did with their big smiles carrying on. I wish each of you much peace and hugs of love as you see her smile, hear her laugh, and feel her hugs.
